Money made simple. For you now. Together when life changes.
Most tools make you pick a lane: a personal budget or a couples budget. Ours is the one tool that does both — your own space today, a shared space with your partner the day you want one, and years of free improvements in between.
No bank syncing. No daily transaction tracking. Sixty seconds to understand — and it never asks you to become an accountant.

Just Me
Your money, one clear picture. Take-home pay, recurring bills, and what is actually left — down to the paycheck.
- ✓Your own money space
- ✓Per-paycheck breakdown
- ✓Goals and debt in one list
Two Individuals
You share a life but keep money mostly separate. See both sides of the household without ever merging accounts.
- ✓Two private spaces
- ✓Each person edits their own
- ✓Compare without merging
Together
Shared bills in one place with a clear contribution for each person — and a split method that fits how you actually live.
- ✓Shared bill list
- ✓Four split methods
- ✓Monthly check-in
Start solo. Build together later.
This is the part nobody else does well. Move in together, get married, merge some bills but not others — whenever it happens, you tap "Add a Partner" and a Together space appears. Same account, same history, no second purchase, nothing rebuilt.
- ✓Move a bill into Together in one tap, with its amount and due date intact.
- ✓Keep what stays personal private — your partner sees Together, not your list.
- ✓Change your split method any time. Nothing is labelled the right answer.

Not a static template. A product that keeps earning its keep.
A budgeting spreadsheet from a marketplace is frozen the day you download it — you are the one maintaining the formulas. A subscription app improves, but the meter runs every month. This is the third option.

Questions, answered
How is this different from a spreadsheet template?+
A spreadsheet template is a static file: you get the formulas, you fix the breakage, and it can never change after you download it. This is a live product. You get a real login that works on any device, a private partner login, and two people editing at the same time without overwriting each other — your changes sync through the cloud, and if two devices edit the same bill at once, you're asked instead of silently losing data. The split math is worked out for you four ways (50/50, By Income, Equal Leftover, or a custom percentage), moving bills between spaces is a guided wizard that catches duplicates and offers Keep Both, Combine, or Skip One, and every month you get a report with charts showing take-home, bills, and what was left over. Try doing any of that in a file you bought for $12.
How do updates work? Do I have to re-download anything?+
Nothing to re-download and nothing to re-buy. Our Money Simplified is a web app that lives in your account, so when we ship an update it simply appears the next time you open it — the way any website updates. Your bills, goals, and history stay exactly where they are; new features arrive around them, not on top of them. You can see exactly what has shipped on the “What's new” list above, where every update is dated. Your one-time payment covers all of it, forever.
Do I have to connect my bank?+
No — and you never will be asked to. There is no bank connection, no read-only account linking, and no transaction import. You type in the few numbers that matter (take-home pay, bills, goals), and the app organizes them. That is also why a full review takes about ten seconds instead of an evening of categorizing.
Do I have to track every purchase?+
No. There is no daily logging, no envelopes, and no fifty categories. This is a plan you agree on, not a diary you maintain. When something changes — a raise, a new bill, a goal reached — you update that one number and everything downstream recalculates instantly.
Do I pay for updates?+
Never. $19.99 is the entire cost, once. Every future feature, refinement, and fix is included for as long as the product exists — including the updates already on the board, like the monthly report with charts and safer duplicate handling. No subscription, no upgrade tiers, no “pro” version later.
Can I start alone and add a partner later?+
Yes, and it's designed for exactly that. Start in your own money space whenever you like. When a partner joins, you get a Together space and a guided bulk-move wizard that carries your bills across — flagging anything that might already exist in both names, so you combine or keep both instead of double-counting. Your history stays intact, and you never pay again.
Does my partner get their own login?+
Yes. Your one-time purchase includes a primary login for you and one for your partner, sent by email invitation. You each see the shared spaces, and the app works when only one of you is around — the other person's changes sync in when they sign in.
What if we stop using it together?+
Together is just another money space, not a separate subscription or a lock-in. Either of you can move shared items back to an individual space at any time, and an individual can keep using the app on their own indefinitely — the same license, no changes.
Is this financial advice?+
No. Our Money Simplified is an organizing tool. It helps two people see and agree on their numbers; it does not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. For decisions with real stakes, talk to a professional.
